About the Role:

Our client, a prestigious and well-established law firm based in London, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing clear and regular updates throughout the conveyancing process.
Document Management: Draft, review, and manage all necessary legal documents for residential property transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Title Examination: Conduct thorough title searches and resolve any issues or discrepancies to ensure clear and marketable title.
Due Diligence: Perform comprehensive due diligence, including property searches and analysis, to gather all relevant information.
Transaction Oversight: Manage the conveyancing process from instruction to completion, meeting all legal requirements and deadlines.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including AML and KYC procedures.
Negotiation: Negotiate terms of sale and purchase agreements, resolving any issues with solicitors representing other parties.
Financial Management: Handle the financial aspects of transactions, including managing deposits and ensuring accurate fund disbursement.
Dispute Resolution: Address and resolve any disputes or issues that arise during the conveyancing process.
File Management: Maintain organised and up-to-date client files, ensuring all correspondence and records are securely stored.
Post-Completion: Manage post-completion matters, such as registering transactions with the Land Registry and handling SDLT payments.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the conveyancing team, providing support and contributing to a positive team environment.
Client Relationship: Develop and maintain strong client relationships, fostering trust and encouraging repeat business.

Key Requirements:

Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 2 years PQE in residential conveyancing.
Proven experience in managing the entire conveyancing process from start to finish.
Strong understanding of property law, title examination, and due diligence procedures.
Excellent communication and client management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and file management skills.
Proficiency in conveyancing software and legal technology tools.
